Public Relations, Government Relations, Media Training, Crisis Communication Assist in systematic evaluation of the organization's objectives and how it is perceived by its constituents and community at large Aid the CEO and other senior staff in involvement in the local community and in a variety of relationships; also serves as an external  sounding board to the CEO and top management, with an eye toward where the organization needs to be in the future Be available as a resource team to officers and the public relations staff to help develop the organization's external outreach, as well as assisting with internal communications as desired Problem-solving at the local, state and national levels through timely communication with government leadership (including legislators and regulators) at those levels.  A Washington, D.C., associate firm is readily available Assist in enhancing the organization's reputation and in establishing liaison with other organizations and leadership within them -- receptions, banquets, etc. Provide objective third-party research with various publics and help improve those areas where the organization needs an enhanced image Assist in objective assessment of those areas where the organization can derive maximum benefit from its philanthropic dollars Assist in penetrating new markets for the organization Help the CEO and other senior staff develop and draft public statements as situations may require, along with speeches and/or remarks for public occasions Prepare the client in crisis management and be available in emergency situations on an around-the-clock basis Assist clients by offering training in media and public relations to the CEO and staff members to help prepare them for media situations Serve as meeting facilitators to help work through issues that are helped by an "outside" perspective Assist in developing production of assorted communication tools (brochures, annual reports, fliers, direct mail pieces, A-V productions, etc. Assist with all media relations of the organization (locally, regionally or nationally)
